Notice to Patients with Medical / GP visit cards
Allocation of GP Services
Patients are registered with the practice NOT an individual GP. There is no entitlement to consult a specific named GP. The practice reserves the right to allocate appointments based on clinical need, availability and operational requirements.
Blood testing / Phlebotomy - Increase fee starting 1st September
Due to increasing costs and workload, phlebotomy / routine blood tests are not covered under the GMS Contract.
As a result, there is now a fee of €40 for blood tests for all medical card/GP visit card holders to be paid prior to consultation.
Note: Please familiarise youself with the services covered and not covered by the medical card / GP visit card holders.
